This Buddha is a resin representation of a Nepali bronze statue, brought from Nepal to Indonesia to have the statues created. The temple in Kathmandu, Nepal no longer exists as it was destroyed by the recent earth quakes.
The flower and the statues are hollow so they are light enough to float in a bowl of water as an indoor and outdoor ornament. The Floating Buddha is unique. There are a limited number of them in the world, and no floating Buddhas are being made anymore.
