🪂 A Leap for Wildlife: Chris’s 13,000ft Charity Skydive
Chris from Happy Buddha, Poole took fundraising to new heights — literally — by completing a tandem skydive from 13,000 feet (over 2.46 miles high!) in support of the animal charity Our Disappearing Planet.
Why jump out of a perfectly good plane?
Because:
🐅 There are only around 3,200 tigers left in the wild
🐻 More than 6,900 bears in China are still kept in cages for bile extraction
(For the record, the request for Chris to jump without a parachute was politely declined 😄)
📍 The Jump
Date: Sunday 13th August 2017
Location: Netheravon Airfield, Salisbury, Wiltshire (SP4 9SF)
💚 The Result
The original fundraising target was £500 — but thanks to your incredible generosity, a total of:
£782.05 was raised!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated and supported this cause.
The jump took place on Sunday 13th August 2017 at Netheravon, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP4 9SF.
