Happy Buddha began life as a collection of humble market stall in Wimborne, Dorset in 2010. From those early days, we’ve grown by building meaningful partnerships with small cooperatives and family-run artisans across the world.

We are proud to champion fair trade, honouring local traditions and craftsmanship while helping to provide much-needed, sustainable employment. We are committed to fair pay, environmentally responsible working conditions, ethical sourcing, and, above all, happy and respected workers.

Our mission has always been simple: to offer high-quality, unique, handcrafted products that are ethically sourced and fairly traded. As Managing Director — and as a practicing Buddhist and passionate environmentalist — I remain deeply committed to ensuring that every decision we make carefully considers our impact on the planet.
